9/18/2008 Tonight I experimented a bit with pork chops and rice, and hit a home run for taste and knocked it out of the park for being the world's quickest and easiest dinner. My husband devoured it, and told me "thank you for that delicious supper." (as if I had slaved over it in the kitchen for hours) and even my 19 month old ate his entire plate worth. This was fantastic, and prep time was less than 5 minutes. This recipe turned into an experiment when I "forgot" to buy all of the ingredients for Chop & Rice, and I didn't want to mess with frying the original recipe...thus the creation of a new one.
Here's how I made Pork Chops and Rice
I actually took the baby outside to play, and left it in the oven a bit longer, but it was truly delicious, and the pork chops were so tender than they fell apart as I picked them up with a fork. Since this was just an experiment, I was shocked that it turned out so good, and took less than 2 minutes to prepare.I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
