Crock Pot Teriyaki Drumsticks

More substantial  than wings, these crock pot teriyaki drumsticks make an excellent party appetizer or a meal.  Drumsticks are about a $1 per pound in my area, so that makes them very affordable, too.

  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 3 pounds skinless chicken drumsticks
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water


Combine teriyaki sauce, tomato sauce, brown sugar, and garlic.

Place chicken in crockpot, and pour sauce over. cover, and cook

on low 5-6 hours until tender. Remove chicken and keep warm.

Strain cooking juices into a pot. Combine cornstarch and cold

water in a cup until smooth. Bring juice from cooker to a

boil. Add cornstarch mixture and cook and stir until

thickened. Serve over chicken. Yummy!
