Chicken and Noodles with Smooth Sauce
Just made this last night and it was a hit!
For the Chicken
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 2 Tbl. Olive oil
Season to taste
Directions:1. In a skillet add 2 tbl. Olive oil and your chicken;cook thoroughly and season to taste.
Sauce:- 2 C. Chicken broth
- 1/3 C. Water
- ½ Tsp. Argo Cornstarch
- Spices: Garlic, sundried Tomatoes, Basil and Chives
Directions:1. In your pan add 2 C. Chicken Broth slowly heat, while heating prepare 1/3 C. water and ½ Tsp. of Argo to thicken your chicken broth. Slowly stir in the Argo to your chicken broth and bring to a light boil. Then add in your seasonings and set aside and keep warm.
Noodles- 6oz. ½ a pack of Egg Noodles (I use the Chinese egg noodles)
- 4 C. Water
- ¼ Tsp. Olive Oil
Directions:1. In your pan add 4 C. of water and ¼ tsp. of olive oil and bring to a boil. Add your egg noodles and cook for about 6 minutes. Drain.
To Serve:While the noodles are still in the pot I add about ¼ C. of the sauce to the noodles and mix them up, serve with your chicken and pour the rest of the sauce over the whole dish and top with scallions! Wa-La`
Serve with a side salad or your favorite veggie
