Bacon Wrapped Chicken

I love this bacon wrapped chicken! It's big on flavor and makes a beautiful presentation. Serves 6.


  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 package bacon
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • 3 jalapeno peppers
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder or other seasonings

Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise to make two thin pieces.

Cut each jalapeno in half lengthwise (de-seed and de-vein if you choose...we don't, but we like it warm.) On each thin chicken piece, but 1/2 inch slice of cream cheese and 1/2 of a jalapeno. Sprinkle with a little garlic powder and salt and pepper. Roll up the chicken and wrap 2 to 3 pieces of bacon around it and secure with toothpicks. I lightly sprinkle the roll with with McCormicks Montreal Steak Seasoning.

You can cook this outside on the grill (which is excellent) for 35-45 minutes or so. Or cook in a 375 oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. The bacon will be crisp on the outside.
