Taco Pizza

This taco pizza reminds me of the kind that I used to eat at Pizza Hut many years ago as a kid. Obviously it's not the same without that delicious thick pan pizza crust, but overall it has a great taste and is family friendly!

Taco Pizza

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 13-15 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury Pizza Crust (for a more pizza like crust) or 1 can of crescent rolls for a softer doughy crust.  Both found in the refrigerator section by the biscuits
  • 1 bag instant dehydrated refried beans (you can use canned, but the bagged ones are MUCH better)
  • iceberg lettuce
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • black olives, drained and sliced

Directions:

Unroll pizza crust and press into 9X13 pan.  If using crescent rolls, pinch the seams together and press it out.

Cook at 375 for a minute or so longer than the package directions.

While the crust is cooking, cook dehydrated beans according to directions. Chop lettuce, tomatoes, slice olives, and any other desired toppings.

After the crust is done, spread desired amount of beans on the bottom. Add other toppings and cut and serve.
