Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Ingredients for Sour Cream Coffee Cake: Cake: - 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Filling: - 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Directions: Mix sour cream and baking soda and let stand 1 hour at room temperature. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and beat till fluffy, then add vanilla. Alternately add flour to batter with sour cream mixture. For filling, combine nuts, cinnamon and sugars. Put 1/2 of the cake batter in greased bundt or 9X10 tube pan then spoon 1/2 of the filling mixture on top. Put remaining batter on, then top with remaining filling. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes.
