Sopapilla Cream Cheese Dessert
This Sopapilla Cream Cheese Dessert recipe is so good! Excellent with coffee for dessert.Ingredients needed: - 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 package of cream cheese 8 oz
- 1 stick of butter
- sprinkle cinnamon
Instructions: - Pre-heat your oven to 350 and bring an 8 oz package of cream cheese and a stick of butter to room temperature (or heat in microwave for 1 minute at 50% power)
Meanwhile... - Spray a 9X13 pan with nonstick cooking sprayPress a roll of croissant dough into the bottom of the pan, pinching the seams together.
- With a hand mixer, combine cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar until soft. Spread this cream cheese mixture over croissant dough.
Take the second can of croissants and lay on top. Pinch seams together. Don't worry if everything is fully covered. The dough may not fully come to the edge. - Now mix with a fork a stick of butter with 1 cup of sugar. It will be crumbly. Add this crumbly mixture on top of croissant dough (be sure to get the edges) Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top if you like.
Bake for 30 minutes then enjoy your Sopapilla Cheesecake
