Snow Ice Cream Recipe

This snow ice cream recipe is a little different than the one my mom used to treat us to when we were kids, but it's easier and good, nonetheless.

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 quarts of snow

  • 1 14 can sweetened condensed milk (aka nectar of the South)

  • 2 Tablespoons vanilla

  • 1/2 of your emptied condensed milk can of regular milk (7 ounces)

  • 1/8 cup sugar

Directions:

Go gather your clean snow in a big bowl. It's true, you probably shouldn't get any of the yellow stuff.

Mix about 1/3 of all of the ingredients together at a time and combine well. Keep stirring and combining until all is well mixed.

This would have been great with some chocolate syrup or strawberries, but of course I didn't have any.

wonderful
by: debra

I live in central Arkansas and we usually don't see much snow, but this year we were happily surprised. My grandson and I had never tasted snow ice cream, so my husband made us some and it was wonderful. My grandson sat out six big bowls to catch the snow after that if he even thought we could have any snow coming in. LOL

Your snow ice cream sounds delicious! You make me wish it snowed here more often. Next time it snows, I'm going to try out this recipe!
