Smothered Burritos

smothered burritos recipe

Easy and delicious, here's a great smothered burritos recipe. Thanks Pat from TX for the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 package flour tortillas
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can Old El Paso enchilada sauce
  • 1 small can green chilies, chopped

Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion, then drain grease. Season to taste.

Stir can of refried beans into the meat, and mix well.

Roll beef and bean mixture into flour tortillas.

Place in baking dish 9X13.

Mix ingredients for sauce and warm over stove.

Pour on top of burritos and top with grated cheese.

Bake covered in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Serve with red beans and a salad.

Enjoy this quick and delicious smothered burritos dinner.
