Rolo Sandwich Bites

by Wendy Jones
(Gainesville GA)

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of Snyder's Snaps Pretzels (The Square Ones)

  • 10 packs of Rolos ( I use the packs you can find in the checkout line. It saves time because you don't have to unwrap each individual one.)

Place the oven on the the lowest heat setting. Mine is 170.

Place the pretzels on a cookie sheet and top each pretzel with a Rolo.

Place the cookie sheet in the oven. Let them stay in there long enough for the Rolos to start to melt. I wait for the chocolate to look shiny! Not very long!! You do not want the chocolate to run.

Take the pretzels out of the oven. Place another pretzel on top of the rolos and push down a little. It will look like a sandwich. Place the Rolo Sandwiches in the freezer for 7-10 minutes. Just long enough to let the chocolate harden.

Enjoy!! They are irresistible!!
