Quick and Easy Tilapia Fillets

Moist and Flakey Tilapia with Lemon Tilapia Foil Pouch Smoking on the Barbecue Grill Tilapia Fillet Seasoned with Salt, Pepper and Olive Oil Preparing the Tilapia Fillet for the BBQ Grill in Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil

This is a very quick and easy tilapia fillet dish that I made a few nights ago. My wife and kids loved it. It's pretty simple and only requires a few basic ingredients, yet it tastes delicious.

What you will need:

Tilapia fillets
extra virgin olive oil
lemons
salt
pepper

Preparation:

Get a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil big enough to be able to wrap completely around each tilapia fillet. Place one tilapia fillet on the aluminum foil. Lightly season both sides of the fillet with salt and pepper to taste, and then lightly drizzle with olive oil. Wrap the aluminum foil around the fillet to create a nice pouch.

Cooking:

Place the tilapia fillet pouches onto a pre-heated charcoal or gas barbecue grill over medium heat. Note that you may want to poke some holes into the pouches so that the fish fillets will take on the smokey flavor from the grill. Close the lid and allow the fish fillets to cook for about 3 minutes, then turn the pouches over and let it cook for an additional 3 minutes.

Remove the pouches from the grill and serve the fillets garnished with lemon wedges or slices. Enjoy with your choice of an easy side dish and one of your favorite drinks to chill out with.
