Parmesan Butter Pork Chops

parmesan butter pork chops, easy pork chops

I get tired of fixing my meats the same old way, so I experimented with this and came up with Parmesan Butter Pork Chops. They were a huge hit around my house! I served them with bacon fried cabbage. Double delicious!

Ingredients:

  • Pork Chops
  • Canned Parmesan Cheese...powdered type
  • Butter...not margarine
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • salt

Directions:

Heat a skillet on medium high heat, then turn to medium and add about a tablespoon or two of butter to melt. As soon as it is melted, add pork chops and sear both sides until slightly browned.

Remove from skillet and put pork chops into a baking dish. Add another tablespoon of butter to the hot skillet, and leave it in there just long enough to melt while scraping up the bits on the bottom of pan (just a few seconds.)

Pour this butter over your pork chops. Add a sprinkle of salt, then sprinkle generously with parmesan cheese, and a sprinkle of parsley flakes. Cover baking dish with foil, and put into a 275 oven for 30 minutes.

This turned out really delicious and was super easy!
