Kitchen Spices, must haves in your pantry!

What kitchen spices are already in your pantry? I know that all of you have salt and pepper already. Have you tried fresh ground sea salt and fresh ground pepper? The taste is amazing and you don't need as much to get great flavor. Our nearest by Sam's Club has giant disposable sea salt and black pepper grinders at a very, very inexpensive price!

Other than salt and pepper, let me tell you what I kitchen spices are always in my pantry for quick and easy dinners, as well as Southern Comfort Meals, and Mexican food.

Must haves:

  • garlic powder
  • Lawry's Seasoning salt
  • McCormick's Montreal Steak Grill Mates
  • Minced garlic (see note below)
  • Cumin whole or ground *husband just said that for Mexican food whole cumin holds onto the flavor better than pre-ground.
  • Paprika
  • Beef & Chicken Bouillon (cubes or powdered)
  • Ground red pepper
  • Packets of Dry Onion Soup Mix (such as Lipton)
  • Packets of dry brown gravy mix

More about Minced Garlic...

A jar of minced garlic should always be in your refrigerator! In my local Walmart, I find the minced garlic in the fresh produce section, usually somewhere near the onions, down low.

Minced garlic, although not as delicious as fresh, is a great alternative. It adds terrific flavor with CONVENIENCE! And this website is all about fast, easy, and convenient.
