Italian Ham Sandwich

You will need:

Cooking Time: 8-10 minutes

Texas Toast Bread
Smoked Ham (shaved)
Mozzarella Cheese
Creamy Butter
Creamy Italian Dressing

Optional: lettuce and tomato

Turn oven to broil.

Butter 2 pieces of Texas toast and put in skillet on stove top on medium heat, as if to grill the bread. Place 3-4 ham slices on each piece of Texas toast, then sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese on each slice. You will need to be quick as the bread will toast quickly. You want it toasted brown though and don't worry about the cheese not melting.

Once bread has toasted, place each slice in a square baking dish and put in oven on top rack so cheese will melt. Once cheese has melted, pull from oven, place each slice on a plate, pour some creamy Italian dressing on one slice, put the other slice on top and cut in half.

I like to put lettuce and tomato on my sandwich (although a bit messy), but my man likes it without the lettuce and tomato (not messy).

By the way, he wants this sandwich fixed for him everyday. It's so easy and quick that I don't mind a bit.
