Green Mexican Sauce

Ingredients for Green Mexican Sauce

  • 1 can tomatillos, drained
  • 3 medium green tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 avocados
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 Tsp. of chopped cilantro leaves (can used dried instead of fresh)

Directions:

Drain liquid off canned tomatillos before chopping, but you will

still have juice that comes out of them, so that is where your

liquid comes from. Cook together the tomatoes, tomatillos, and

garlic until liquid has cooked down some. Be sure to watch it

so it does not scorch the pan. Chop and either mash the

avocados or pulse in blender. Add cooked mixture to avocados,

then add rest of ingredients. Blend it up, and dig in!
