Grandmas Christmas Eggnog Recipe

I make this eggnog recipe every year for Christmas Eve. It is my Grandma's recipe, and I know you'll like it much better than store bought.

Ingredients for Grandmas Christmas Eggnog:

  • 1 dozen fresh eggs
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cups bourbon or rum
  • 1 quart whipping cream
  • 1 quart half and half

Directions:

Separate eggs. Beat yolks till thick and lemony. Add 1 box

powdered sugar. Add 3/4 to 1 cup bourbon or rum. Let stand 1

hour. Add 1 quart half and half and 1 more cup bourbon. Let

stand 3 hours. Whip egg whites and add to mixture. Store in

glass container.
