French Onion Pork Chops

Ingredients for French Onion Pork Chops:

  • 1 can french onion soup

  • 4 boneless pork chops

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar


1) In deep skillet, melt butter then sear pork chops on each side for appx 2 mins apiece.

2) Remove pork chops and place in baking dish.

3) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

4) In deep skillet (do not clean), add french onion soup and brown sugar. Bring to boil.

5) Pour soup and sugar mixture over the top of the pork chops in the baking dish.

6) Let cook, uncovered, in oven for appx 1 hour.

7) Take out of oven and serve!

My meatatarian men both like these chops! It was nice to have a different recipe as there aren't a ton of options with chops. I used thick cut, bone in and cooked for an hour. They were a little dry, so will cook about 45-50 min. Next time.

This was really good! It was even better than I expected. It was very easy to make, and it tasted much different than it smelled while cooking. We loved it, and will definitely make it again!
