Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 16 oz package fettuccine noodles
• 1 stick butter (not margarine!)
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles according to package.

While noodles are cooking, melt butter on medium heat.

Stir in cream and pepper and garlic powder.

Simmer 10-12 minutes stirring constantly (it will burn!) until it begins to thicken. (won't thicken a lot until it cools a bit)after it has thickened up a bit add in cheese

My sister always doubles the recipe to have extra dipping sauce for the garlic bread!
