Easy Beefy Goulash

Serves: 4- 6______Prep: 5 min______Cook: 15 min
Ingredients for Easy Beefy Goulash
- 1 pound 80 - 85% lean ground beef
- 1- 10.75 oz can tomato soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
- salt to taste
- 1- 13 oz. package elbow macaroni noodles
- shredded mozzarella or grated parmesan cheese topping (optional)
Cook noodles as directed on package. Fry ground beef & chopped onion; drain fat. Add tomato soup, garlic & water to ground beef; simmer 10 minutes. Add cooked noodles, mix together & serve hot.
Bring water to boil and add 2 Tbs cooking oil before adding noodles; this keeps them from sticking together. Don't over-cook noodles as this causes them to become "pasty".
