Crock Pot Ranch Pork Chops

Don't underestimate the simplicity of this recipe.  These crock pot ranch pork chops are quite delicious.

This wasn't a meal that was particularly easy to photograph.  It doesn't look pretty.  I had to dress it up with a few parsley flakes, but that being said, it tasted fantastic.  My little boys and my hubby raved over how good it was.  Recipes like this make me happy.  I spent minutes in the kitchen to prepare and spent the rest of the day outside playing with the kids.

Ingredients:

  • A family pack of pork chops (6-8) boneless preferred, but I used bone in because they were on sale - they will just fall off the bone after being in the crock pot
  • 1 standard size can of cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1/2 can of water
  • 1 packet of dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
  • parsley flakes to make it look better

Directions:

Place pork chops in crock pot. 

Sprinkle dry ranch mix over the top.

Empty soup can of its contents over the top of that.

Fill soup can halfway with water.  Dump it in, too.

Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8.  Now go find something fun to do. 

Before serving make some white rice or mashed potatoes.  Serve chops on top with extra 'gravy.'
