Cranberry Salsa

by Marsha Shafer
(Eastland, TX)

Cranberry Salsa

Cranberry Salsa

Ingredients:

1 orange, unpeeled, quartered and seeded
2 cups fresh cranberries
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
1 or 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded
3 Tablespoons fresh cilantro
1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans

Use food processor to achieve a coarse-chopped consistency. Add pecans. Chill at least 2 hours.

===============================================
We eat tons of salsa at our house, and this stuff is great with turkey or ham--a refreshing change from tomato based salsa!

We love Salsa Too!!
by: Tiffany

Marsha,

This sounds GREAT! We're definitely going to be trying this for something different. Do you use it for a dip? A topping? I can't wait to make some.

Thanks for sharing!
