Corn Chowder Soup Recipes

I have several corn chowder soup recipes to share. I thought it would be nice to let you choose your favorite, instead of me always choosing mine.



Ingredients:
  • 4 strips of uncooked bacon, chopped

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1 1/2 cup cream-style corn

  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup potatoes, diced


Directions:

Put bacon and onion in a large pan (cast iron Dutch oven works great) and cook until onion is tender. Add potatoes, salt, and boiling water. Cook until potatoes are soft. Add milk and corn; simmer for a few minutes until heated through. Serves 4


Ingredients:
  • 5 sliced of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 cups cooked potatoes

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 can whole kernel corn

  • 1/8 tsp pepper


Directions:

In a stockpot (or Dutch oven), brown chopped onions, add salt, pepper, potatoes, milk, soup and corn. Heat to boil, reduce heat then simmer for 2-3 minutes more. Top with crumbled bacon and serve.
