Five Minute Chocolate Trifle Recipe

If you need a quick, easy, delicious, recipe for a chocolate dessert, this is the chocolate trifle recipe for you.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 store-bought chocolate cake
  • 1/2 cup of Kahlua or strong coffee
  • 2-3 (4 pack) packages snack size chocolate pudding
  • 1 (12 oz) carton of whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 (8 oz) package of Heath toffee bits

This is so easy! Break cake into chunks, and layer half into a trifle dish. Pour 1/2 the kahlua over this, then 1/2 of the pudding cups, 1/2 the whipped topping, then 1/2 the toffee bits. Repeat!

More trifle dessert recipes to be posted soon! Keep me bookmarked.

Tip: Chocolate cake is readily available at most supermarket bakeries, but if you don't have access to it, try pound cake, bought brownies, twinkies, or frozen cakes. You can make your own cake and pudding...but then you'll have a lot of extra time invested.
