Baked Halibut Recipe

This baked halibut recipe is incredible!  Although I used halibut for these photos, any firm whitefish will work well.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 tsp Lemon Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp garlic (granulated)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp dried dill or basil
  • 1.5 tsp minced onion
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2-3 lbs Halibut
  • 2.5 Tablespoons lime juice

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit

Combine the dry spices with melted butter and create a paste.  Set aside.

Put fish fillets on a baking sheet and drizzle with lime juice.

Rub spice/butter mixture all over the halibut.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until fish flakes with fork.  Don't overcook!

Keep side dishes simple and light for this recipe.  Steamed veggies, white rice, or a simple side salad would all work well.  I hope you enjoy!
