Cocoa and Cola Cake Recipe

Try this interesting Cocoa and Cola Cake Recipe for a delicious easy dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 3 Tbs. Cocoa
  • 2 Sticks Margarine, softened
  • 1 3/4 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1 Cup Cola
  • 1 1/2 Cups Miniature Marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9X13 inch pan.
  2. In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and cocoa and set aside.
  3. In large mixing bowl cream margarine and sugar, then add eggs

    and vanilla and mix.

  4. Add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk; blend at low speed, then beat 1 minute at medium speed. Add cola and blend well. Stir in marshmallows by hand.
  5. Pour into greased pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until wooden

    toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool about 30

    minutes, then spread with icing.

Icing

  • 1/2 Cup Margarine, softened
  • 4 Cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • 3 Tbs. Cocoa
  • 1/2 Cup Cola
  • 1 Cup Chopped, Toasted Pecans

Cream margarine with powdered sugar and cocoa; add in cola and

beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cake and sprinkle with

pecans.
