Cocoa and Cola Cake Recipe
Try this interesting Cocoa and Cola Cake Recipe for a delicious easy dessert. Ingredients: - 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 3 Tbs. Cocoa
- 2 Sticks Margarine, softened
- 1 3/4 Cups Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1 Cup Cola
- 1 1/2 Cups Miniature Marshmallows
Directions: - Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9X13 inch pan.
- In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and cocoa and set aside.
- In large mixing bowl cream margarine and sugar, then add eggs
and vanilla and mix. - Add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk; blend at low speed, then beat 1 minute at medium speed. Add cola and blend well. Stir in marshmallows by hand.
- Pour into greased pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until wooden
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool about 30 minutes, then spread with icing.
Icing - 1/2 Cup Margarine, softened
- 4 Cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
- 3 Tbs. Cocoa
- 1/2 Cup Cola
- 1 Cup Chopped, Toasted Pecans
Cream margarine with powdered sugar and cocoa; add in cola and beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cake and sprinkle with pecans.
